How To Find Inspiration Everywhere. (Conversing with M.H.) A poster installation to represent another designer. Scott Stowell's class presented us with many challenging and interesting opportunities to stretch our design legs. This project sent us out to create a project that represented another student in the class. This particular student had expressed a need to connect ideas with others: a common thread with designers, but he brought his own, unique and personal approach. I set out to connect his ideas with a broad audience on the streets of New York. I did this by printing some 300 posters and with tape in hand, biked my way around Manhattan and Brooklyn. I then set up an email address and crossed my fingers that people would respond to share their inspiration.
After papering the city I documented many of the posters I had put up a week after to see if there was any progress. I then compiled a set of images into a small book that represented the project as a whole.
